My Thai Girlfriend

Every day many planes land at Bangkok airport with men hungry for love. Some arriving in Thailand for a holiday - to relax and play golf, other looking for a partner and even a wife.

When the man finally marries his Thai wife, there are some series decisions to make. Depending on the mans income will depend on the location they will finally live as husband and wife.

If you spend any time in Pattaya you will encounter hundreds if not thousands of western husbands married to Thai wifes. With a larger budget available they are able to live in the bigger citys like Pattaya or Bangkok.

The men with smaller budgets are often forced to live in rural Thailand, with little entertainment, medical care or even western contact around them.

Some men choose to go home with their wife, for instance some men arrive in Thailand, marry a Thai lady and then arrange a marriage visa for her to live in the UK

No matter which road the couple take, it will always be difficult, with age, culture and language difficulties.
